키쿠치 계곡의 추억

                           菊池渓谷へ行った！空気がきれいで楽しかった！！

                         去了菊池溪谷，空气清新。很开心！

               初めてワイン工場へ行った、そこでおいしいお酒を飲んだ！

                         第一次去了酒工厂，那里的酒很好喝！

Kumamoto Winery

Not just winery, but a small village of little shops as well.  We got to see the machine that bottles the wine, and afterwards we killed two hours running around finding stuff to do.  There was even a nearby market that sold gargantuan green onions at 80 yen a pop!  We even had a wine tasting and sampled some wine-flavored ice cream.

Saishun Kan Seiyaku… Saishun Kan Seiyaku…  Saishun Kan Seiyaku….

A wrinkle cream factory.  That doesn’t sound very interesting, until you find out a month later that the place is owned by the yakuza.  And Baba sensei was relentless in teaching us how to pronounce the name.

Kyudo!

Yay! Kyudo! Japanese archery! Kelsee is practicing with the training tool that　  newbies have to use for months before they can even draw a real bow.

Kikuchi

One of the best and most beautiful field trips we took this semester.  Kikuchi is famous for its waterfalls, or just water in general.  Along with beautiful green forests.

様々な国の友達と過ごしていい思い出を作りました。もう帰らなければならないことになっているけど、この経験を忘れないようにいていきます。<3

私を知ってる人は私があまり料理を作らないと分かるけど、トゥーちゃんとこのツナサラダを作って皆で食べて楽しかったです～！

　　日本の菊池渓谷を見て今までのことがあの水のようにすぎじゃた。ありがとう。

Before we boarded the bus to the Winery, we were lucky enough to observe a rainbow that encircled the sun. It was the first time I have seen something like this. It was amazing!

 This is a picture taken on our trip to the Winery. We were able to take a guided tour, joy many beautiful sites and were even able to sample of the wine! The ice cream inside of the gift shop was especially delicious!

This was at the 採寸館製薬 (the cosmetics factory). Everyone got a guided tour and was able to try grinding some of the ingredients found in Domohorn Wrinkle cream. We also got to sample some of the cream as well. My skin felt very soft after trying the cream!

Here, the head of the kyudo club at Gakuen University is explaining the history of kyudo. This trip was a lot of fun as we got to try kyudo ourselves!

At Kikuchi valley we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The water was a little cold and we were unable to swim in the river at the time, but it was still an amazing trip nonetheless!
